itinerary
2012. may not be the best year for me in terms of traveling. but who knows, it’s still february.
Destination: Coron / Palawan via Manila
Travel Dates: February 18-21, 2012 FAIL!!!!
Status: as of writing, this is a foiled plan as i’m financially challenged this month, haha. add to that is my sister’s flight’s cancellation [boo to airplhil!!!] so will attempt again on August 18-21, 2012. got tickets, but we’ll see.
Destination: Siquijor – CHECK!!!!!!!!!
Travel Dates: April 6~9
**this is definitely very tentative. in all my 32 years, i’ve never traveled during holy week. i’m still undecided whether i should forego the notion of staying put during this religious holiday and tag along with rhea to the beautiful land of the mystic..
UPDATE: finally have siquijor ticked off from my “local places to go” list. went there last april 5 to 7. while i got disappointed with the beach (not having enough time to get me all tanned-up, hehe>, i still had a fantastic time at this quiet and often mistakenly labeled “scary” place.
DESTINATION: Tangub, Misamis Occidental
Travel Date: December 9 to 11
this will be my third attempt at trying to get my butt to check out the Christmas Capital of the Philippines. well, technically the second – the first time was all desire, but NO moolah so that doesn’t count. last year, i got tickets (booked TWICE!!!) but plans still didn’t pan out. hopefully, i can do it this year. i might be going solo on this one, as i doubt i can convince anyone to go with me and take two days off from work just to see some Christmasy Lights. now, i have to save up for a camera, otherwise – if i did manage to fly there, all i will be taking are memories as my camera just isn’t what it used to be. haha, it has a “BIG ECLIPSE” on the screen, and the eclipse is getting bigger..
there's no special reason for the name except the love of putting my foot in front of the other until i'm breathless. traveling is a new found love for me. though i'm not blessed with beautiful-looking feet, i've gotten the habit of taking photos of my feet every time i set foot on lands outside of my beloved cebu. THANKS FOR VISITING!!! leave me a note or two. send it to vetlongwalks@yahoo.com or drop me a comment here. would love to hear from you!
BE WARNED: i'm no seasoned traveler nor a professional travel writer. contents here are purely accounts of my own travel experience.

hi sai!
thanks for visiting my lil place on the web. nothing to envy coz you said it yourself, you love traveling. thus, i’m sure you’ve been to lots of places as well. wish you a nice trip to guimaras. it’s one place i’d like to go back to for the quiet, peace, and nice scenery. no parties there, but that’s the reason for its beauty – at least to my mind…
