bas daku, moalboal, cebu(august 2005,september 2006,february 2008)

blue lagoon, pagudpud, ilocos norte (june 2010)

pandanon, bohol (may 2008)
puka beach, boracay (may 2004)**pardon the poor quality pix, i didn’t own a decent digital camera back in 2004.will rectify that when i visit bora again this september.

well, there you have it – the beautiful beaches you can hit for tomorrow’s beach outing. be safe in the water. enjoy! enjoy!
diclaimer: i’m no professional photographer. i only use the point and shoot type digicam, so some of the pix here don’t do justice to the truly crystal clear waters of these beaches. in the case of balicasag, there are now so many tourists visiting the area, so you’d expect a lot of boats docked along the shoreline, but the water is still as crystal clear as ever especially when the sun is out -based on my visit last weekend..it was a little wavy when we went there, too. in the case of alona beach, in tawala, panglao – don’t be surprised that there’d be an equal number of tourists (mostly Caucasians/Europeans) as there are local tourists in the area, sometimes their number is greater than local tourists. also, i’ve been to panglao several times, and it was only last week that i felt there was something in the water that causes some itchiness, never experienced it before. in the case of blue lagoon, i remember that it has the finest sand among all these beaches. it’s truly worth the 8-hour bus drive from manila. as for el nido, i can only say this: awesome – such a truly magnificent creation, if it weren’t that too expensive to go there, i’ll hit el nido again – a MUST beach to visit!)

there's no special reason for the name except the love of putting my foot in front of the other until i'm breathless. traveling is a new found love for me. though i'm not blessed with beautiful-looking feet, i've gotten the habit of taking photos of my feet every time i set foot on lands outside of my beloved cebu. THANKS FOR VISITING!!! leave me a note or two. send it to vetlongwalks@yahoo.com or drop me a comment here. would love to hear from you!
