Buddah and all vegetarian lunch

a few days ago, my yoga teacher invited me to attend a FLEX [foundations of leadership and excellence] seminar. thus, i spent last weekend at the Chu Un Temple at V. Rama Avenue. although much of the things discussed at the seminar were things i already know, i still enjoyed the one and half-day seminar. [i skipped the saturday afternoon session as i went to a high school friend's father's funeral]. it was a great experience for me. primarily because i’ve been wanting to go inside this temple. i often pass by this temple every time i share a cab with line. the seminar gave me the opportunity to satisfy my curiosity of what’s inside the temple. the place was just lovely and the temple even grander. i don’t know, i just like looking at buddha statues. aside from my fill of the buddhas, i got to experience my first ever authentic vegetarian meal [and NO, i still love my pork even if the vegetarian dishes were pretty good]. anyway, here are a few pix i’ve managed to shoot. they’re very few as most of them were stolen, hehe… the place has this “solemn” and “sacred” feel to it that my camwhoring tendency was generally curbed that day.
