nightmarish first night in HK
as line and i didn’t have enough HK dollars or pattacas when we were about to leave macau, we decided to take Turbo Jet going back to hong kong. one-way fare for the turbo jet trip from macau to hk costs MOP 176 [pattacas] as opposed to first ferry’s MOP 140. though relatively more expensive, we still opted for turbo jet because we chose to purchase our tickets using line’s credit card.
before leaving macau, line and i tried to contact Li’s Hostel in HK. however, we were unable to contact the hostel. so, we resorted to sending an email to the hostel to inform them of our arrival that night. for 30 minutes, we used the free Internet access at Macau’s Business Tourism Center: [hehe... the guard on duty when we were there was a Filipino]
there's no special reason for the name except the love of putting my foot in front of the other until i'm breathless. traveling is a new found love for me. though i'm not blessed with beautiful-looking feet, i've gotten the habit of taking photos of my feet every time i set foot on lands outside of my beloved cebu.
